Whassup everyone, yes I know it's been a while since we last spoke
or rather
since I last spoke to you. Did you miss me? Well as you see,
we're back with
the Memphis Rap Weekly Newsletter so I'm glad to be back but
don't get so use
to me hosting all the time though aight! When I think about it,
I may even
bring special guests to talk with you from time to time. How
does that sound?
Well if you'd like to hear from someone, maybe your favorite
artist, or someone
else, anybody, just holla, and we'll see if we can get 'em to

Now back to the newsletter, I won't go through a long story of
why it's been
so much time since the last newsletters so lets just keep it
short and say
we've been working on TONS of other stuff and got caught up in
the mist, nah
not canadian mist, lol. But anyway, I will apologize for being
away so long,
but "it's all barbeque" cause you know we gots nothing but luv
for ya!
Well, now that that's out of the way, there's been alot going
on since our last
newsletter and we're gonna try to update you a little on whassup
with what you
may have missed but we're gonna focus more on whassup right now
and coming aight?
We had a website update which many of you may know about where
we changed the
homepage to a new look. You know, when you may have been seeing
the word BETA here
and there. Similar to what you see and may have been seeing over
at Yahoo! for the
last few months or so. Well we tested our new homepage and to
make a long story
short, we decided to keep the original because we got better
results,
interaction and comments.
Now as for whassup lately, I guess everybody knows now about MySpace,
the big hot
new trend of the internet to chat and meet and make friends.
It's also the new
hangout for a lot of real celebrities and a whole lot of fake
wanna-be celebrities.
What? You thought you were talking to Tyra last night? Well that
might have been
Tyrone playing to be Tyra, ya heard me, lol. But anyway, I got
a whole lot to say
about MySpace, mainly to the artists who are on there, but I'll
save that for a later
time. For now, I just wanted to notify everyone that yes we did
have a MySapce site
for MemphisRap.com on there but we don't anymore. So if you run
across a memphisrap.com
myspace site, it may be the works of a fan or one of our staff
members aight. So just
be careful and make sure to call us or look at our about site
to learn who is who and
what is what when someone says they're with memphisrap.com you
should verify that
aight. As a matter of fact, ALWAYS verify anyone you meet on
the net who is talking
about doing business, ya feel me, you never know!
Well, I guess I've wrote enough for now, so I'll holla at ya'll

Day"

Dee Money Entertainment, representatives for Playa Fly, have notified
MemphisRap.com that Playa Fly has indeed finally been released
from the
custody of the state of Tennessee jail. Playa Fly is set to be
going back
into the studio, in the coming weeks, to finish recording new
material for
his upcoming album, "Mafia All Day."
