Memphis,TN (September 15, 2006) - As pretenders, we play along to make things
go away easily, but at 2:00 PM Friday, Power 99 in Memphis, TN all nonstop hip-hop
radio stopped dead in it's track and flipped the script on it's radio listeners and
most others without any notification or making them aware of their new format change
to the new 98.9 KIM FM. Sources told MemphisRap.com that most everyone if not all of
the Power 99 radio personalities are gone which is an unfortunate happening. The
entire format has been changed which will inturn make all the listeners who were dying
for nothing but hip-hop/rap venture on to stations such as K97 FM and Hot 107.1 FM.

2. Memphis Police officer found dead in car trunk; Shelby County jailer charged

///\\\\///\\\///\\\///\\\///\\\///\\\///\\\///\\\///\\\\///\\\///\\\///\\

A Memphis Shelby County deputy jailer, Monique Johnson, was arrested recently
for allegedly killing her reported boyfriend, Memphis police officer Tony Hayes,
who was found shot to death in the back of his own car. Monique Johnson's teenage
son, 16, was also arrested in connection with the officer's murder. Hayes' family
says they suspected Johnson soon after Hayes disappeared. Tonya Reid, mother to
Haye's 12 year old son, received a call from Monique Johnson to ask permission to
take Hayes' son to her home. Reid told her no. She told Johnson, "I don't know you.
So, my son can't go to your house." She then questioned, "What makes you think Tony
isn't coming home tonight?"

rapping skills about three years ago. By 2003, Playboy reached out to Allstar,
who at the time was just starting in the rap world. Playboy saw Allstar had
