season 2's winner Deelishis' when she called in Sunday morning to the Memphis radio
talk show on K97FM hosted by radio personality Janeen Gordon of the Early Morning
Show. Shawna revealed answers to questions that many people are wandering about
Deelishis, who Shawna claims is still with Flavor of Love's host Flava Flav.

2. Memphis rapper Yo Gotti quoted as one of the Best of 2006 by NY Times

Yo Gotti's "I Told You So" and Lil Wayne's "Dedication 2" are two of the rappers
nd rap albums quoted by New York Times as must-have local hip-hop hits that would
eave any 2006 hip-hop collection incomplete. In the article on New York Times,
hich focused on Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie, it was mentioned that local rap
eems to be the thing today.

The article also goes on to mention that in the year of rap 2006, T.I.'s "King" was
the years best hip-hop CD and the only 2006 CD to sell over 1 million copies. It
goes on to mention that Busta Rhymes' album "The Big Bang" and also Rick Ross'
heavily promoted major label debut "Port of Miami" both barely sold a half-million
copies.

Though many think Memphis has only one style and sound, Memphis rap artist Kaliq not
only breaks that belief but also breaks the belief that there's no female talent in
Memphis except Gangsta Boo and La Chat. Memphis has tons of talent and today alot of
females are now breaking in the Industry and their not sounding like they use to anymore.
Though there's nothing wrong with the Memphis sound we all know and love either, it's just
to break the myth that Memphis is only crunk, buck and gangsta.

Here, in an interview with MemphisRap.com, sexy new artist Kaliq who as a teenager on the
streets has experienced and seen drugs, sex, prostitution, stripping and pimping, breaks
it down best when she says "I am going to be 22 October 2nd ..there's no need of sugar

Craig Brewer actually told MemphisRap.com how the rumors got started, "I actually
spoke with Terrance Howard last year on the red carpet about would he do a Hustle
& Flow 2 and he said yeah man he would do it and we're gonna do a Hustle & Flow 2."
"I think that's how the rumors got started," stated Brewer.
