Winners of the MemphisRap.com Showcase Announced

The organizers of the MemphisRap.com Showcase & Industry Networking Event have
announced its Showcase winners.
All talent who entered the showcase performed on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 in
front of a Panel of Industry Judges, magazine publications, music fans, A&R's,
and others throughout the night which was filled with entertainment and networking.
Top performers of the showcase portion of the event included Telfon Don who took
the number one spot with "I Represent", the second spot was a tie between B' Rob,
the only live hip-hop band which performed "Maniac" and 17 year-old rapper Lil' Sha,
the only solo female performer performing "Thank You Mom". And though not mentioned
after the showcase, the other performer, amongst the top three coming in at a close
third place, was rap artist Foley who performed "How You Want It".

MemphisRap.com Introduces New Marketing & Promotions For Artists, Labels and Promoters

Memphis, TN - (MemphisRap.com) January 30, 2008 - Since launching in April 2001,
MemphisRap.com has delivered thousands of promotional messages, new artists, new albums
to a local and worldwide audience. MemphisRap.com has also been a great contributor for
bringing together those in the Industry to meet and network with others online and offline,
recently with the success of the Memphisrap.com Showcase and Industry Networking Event
held this January 2008. Since April 2001, MemphisRap.com has grown from attracting hundreds
of people a day to now thousands a day and hundreds of thousands a month. Even while the
numbers did decline shortly after the website was totally rehauled in October '07 with
new software and a fresh database of members, it did not effect the growth of the site.
MemphisRap.com is growing in new members each day and still has an average of 400,000 to
600,000 visitors to the site each month and those numbers are steady growing.
MemphisRap.com has been involved in launching the careers of many well known artists
in the Industry today while participating in successful online marketing campaigns for
such people as David Banner when he first broke barriers with one of the first online
marketing media players, artist Lil Wyte who attracted over 5,000 new subscribers and
contest entrants with the Memphisrap.com Lil Wyte & MTX Car Audio System Contest campaign
as well as MemphisRap.com played a big online role in the success of Lil Wyte's debut album
and CD sales after providing over a million marketing impressions for the album "Doubt
Me Know". These artists plus independent labels such as Prophet Entertainment headed by
Nick Scarfo, who launched his marketing campaign first online with MemphisRap.com which
helped sell over 3,000 CD's the first week out for the newly formed Prophet Posse last
year on album "The Return: Part I," have been just a few examples of successful campaigns
delivered through MemphisRap.com.
Altogether, MemphisRap.com has delivered millions of marketing impressions for artists
and labels regarding new albums, new songs, and other promotions. Beginning this year,
MemphisRap.com plans to take it to new heights.

2. Look for and copy the embed code (usually found to the right, left or underneath
the video clip).
3. Log on to http://www.memphisrap.com/cgi-bin/content/blogging.cgi and then login.
4. Click the "Post Message" link located to the left under your blog picture.
5. On the menu of the "Post A New Message" box, right under the subject and message
title, click the button which looks like <> and paste your code in the message box.
Note: YOU MUST CLICK <> before pasting your embed code. You will see the following
message "You are in TEXT MODE. Use the [<>] button to switch back to WYSIWYG."
5. After pasting your embed code, click SAVE MESSAGE if you do not wish to type a message.
